Obituary for DARYLE ANTHONY JOHNSON
On October 30, 2019, Daryle Anthony “Sice” Johnson put on his walking
shoes for his final journey home. Daryle was born in Washington DC to
Catherine R. Johnson and Clyde A. Hughes (deceased). He earned his
education from the District of Columbia, as well as Prince George's County
public schools.
“Sice” was a family man and loved his family. He was a humble person,
and he would seek out the good in people, even when it didn't turn out good
for him. Daryle enjoyed being around his nieces, who affectionately called
him "uncle", nephews and little cousins. He loved the kids as if he was one
of them at times. Daryle had the "gift of gab" and could talk his way into
and out of just about everything. His advice was meant with the best of
intentions and love, as only Sice could convey it—whether you wanted it or
not.
Daryle was preceded in death by his brother Charles W. Johnson.
Daryle is survived by his mother: Catherine R. Johnson; brother: Steaphan
(Cherise) Johnson; son: Davon "Ham" Garrett, and his nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncle's, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.
Daryle is and will always be loved and missed dearly.
