Obituary for IRENE D. PARRAN
Irene Daisymae Brooks, was born to the late Henry James Brooks, Sr. and Daisymae
Roberta (Mackall) Brooks.

She was the eldest of her remaining sibling after the loss of her sister Sylvia Harris.

Brothers and sisters from her mom and dad were: Katherine Ray (Daniel Ray, Sr),
Rosalee Fields (LT Fields-d), Lorraine Williams (Charles-d), Geneva Hart, Joyce Brooks,
Elder Brooks (Shirly), Alfonzo Brooks (Arlene), Joseph Brooks (Ophelia), MacArthur
Brooks (Clarisa), Bernard Brooks (d), Henry Brooks, Jr (d) (Florence-d), Molly Brooks-d.
She was the last surviving of the brothers, sister and brothers and sisters-in-law of her
husband Alfus family (Parran's) generation. Lillian, Florence Sherbert (Oliver),
Carl Parran (Erma), Addie Brooks (Vanderbilt), John Parran (Loretta), William Parran
(Floretta). Also Carrie and Blanche.

Irene wedded Alfus F. Parran, Sr., and from that union gave birth to four children,
Alfus F. Parran, Jr., Gloria Celestine Parran-Jones (Eugene), Dianne Delores Parran-Watkins
and Ambroses Bennett Parran. Two other children, Sylvester and Brenda. Grandchildren Donna, Shann, Renita, Shavonne, Tonya, Nicole, Ashleigh, Breanna, Sabrina, Darnell, Timothy, Almos, Roland-d, Sylvester Jr., Ambrose Jr., Nyia.

Irene was educated in Public Schools of Calvert County. She worked as a seasonal cook
in many known Restaurants in the Chesapeake Beach area and as a Senior Companion in her later years. The majority of her life she spent being a dedicated mother and housewife. She lived a good life traveling with family and enjoying her four generations of children, grandchildren, great great grand children. They all loved Grandma.

She was known as Mom to many whom entered her circle of life. Mom loved her Perch fish and if you had some for her you where an instant friend.

Mom loved family and how she glowed at family gatherings observing her legacy of generations.

She was the eldest of her remaining siblings after the lost of her sister Sylvia Harris.
