Dudley Franklin Reynolds Jr. peacefully passed from this life Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Dudley affectionately known as "Jr." was born and raised by the late Dudley and Mary Alice Reynolds in Calvert County, Maryland.
He was educated in the Schools of Calvert County Maryland. Dudley later moved to Washington DC in1966. In 1967, Dudley became an employee at the US Government Printing Office in Washington DC for 29 years and retired in 1996.
In 1973 he was in Holy Matrimony to Margaret Reynolds until she died in 1974, Jr. was a member of The Park Road Community Church and was a faithful member for over 50 years. He served on the Security Ministry also sang in The Men's Chorus.
He also helped financially by raising money for the church by bringing in Quartet Groups to sing. Dudley was an inspiration to everyone he came in contact with. He loved people but most all in enjoyed being with his family, especially on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Also, don't forget Jr. loved some football. His teams were the "Raiders" and the "Kansas City Chiefs". Jr. also loved to eat "Home Cooked Meals". It didn't matter what it was as long as the food was good. He also liked to go to the Golden Corral. Jr. also was known as a story teller. He had a sharp memory and he could remember things that no one else could remember. Although he may be absent from the body but he is now present with the Lord, we know that the memories will remain with us forever.
We rejoice in knowing that he is in no pain and has reached his heavenly home.
