Obituary for WILLIAM ALBERT ENNIS

William Albert Ennis born the 11th child of the late William and Hettie Ennis departed this life on Sunday, March 17th surrounded by family and loved ones. William, affectionately known as Jerry by the residents and staff of South River Health & Rehabilitation Center (SRHRC) was born and raised in Bristol, Maryland. Due to his illness in 1990, William became a long term resident of SRHRC in Edgewater, Maryland. William received his education in the Anne Arundel County Public School Systems until pursuing a career in Farming. William was a faithful supporter of Union United Methodist Church. Jerry loved to spend quality time with his family during their visits and holidays and was well known for his comical demeanor and loving personality. You could often find Jerry outside enjoying nature by going for walks, assisting with the gardening and feeding the squirrels and birds. Jerry loved to play dominoes with other residents, as well as family members. Unfortunately, he was a Master of this game, because everyone had a hard time gaining a victory. William leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious memories to his biological family as well as his adopted family members of South River Health & Rehabilitation. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Although the family is truly saddened by the loss of our Uncle and Cousin, the final bloom of the late William & Hettie Ennis family tree has blossomed. We find comfort in knowing he was ushered into a grand celebration by many loved ones. William & Hettie's immediate circle is no longer unbroken. William was predeceased by his parents, the late William & Hettie Ennis; seven sisters, Nannie Jackson, Leitha Ennis-Waters, Sarah, Lavenia, and Hettie Ennis, Carrie Ennis-Butler, and Josephine Ennis-Burley; four brothers, George, Charles, Moses & Clarence Ennis; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
