Obituary for WALTER TYRONE TAYLOR
Walter Tyrone Taylor was born on March 11, 1954 to Townsend Wallen Taylor and Helen Victoria Gantt in Prince Frederick, Maryland.
As a child, Tyrone loved fishing and being on the water, but his fondest memories were of him and his dad cooking on the grill together at family cookouts. Tyrone was educated in Connecticut and by Calvert County Public Schools before becoming a lifelong construction worker. He had his hands in every part of the construction industry, ~earning everything there was to know about the trade; lastly working as a foreman until the time of his illness.
Tyrone strongly valued God and family, as he grew up attending church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was an active and faithful Elder of Healing & Deliverance Community Experience of the Holy Spirit under the leadership of Prophet Apostle Aniachi C. Belu-John.
He was affectionately known for being full of life and laughter. Tyrone loved baseball, watching Westerns with his mom, and would be found spending his free time with family or sharing the goodness of the Lord with anyone who came his way.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Helen Gantt and Townsend (Vale) Taylor; aunts Amelia Johnson; Edith Taylor; sisters Louise Taylor Stewart, Kristen Taylor, and Valerie Taylor; daughters Kaiesha Taylor Carter (Cordell) and Felicia Taylor; two grandchildren Brandee Hall and DayJuan Ablonczy; as well as a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Warren and Charlotte Gantt; paternal grandparents Louise and Guy Taylor; uncles Warren Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Gordon Taylor, George Taylor, Charles Taylor, Warren Gantt, William Gantt, George Gantt, and Thomas Gantt; aunts Bertha Jefferson, Hester Johnson, Beaulah Coates, Mary Gantt, Sara Gray, and Annie Bourne; as well as brothers Clayton Taylor and Todd Taylor, and grandson Cordell Carter Ill.
On October 30, 2021 Tyrone entered eternal rest, he was surrounded by his mom and cousin Kathy. He has touched many lives as a son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. His legacy will live in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with.
