Thomas grew up in St. Mary’s County and attended George Washington Carver School in Carver Heights. He worked at various jobs until being employed by DynCorp International in May of 1999. He could spend all night fishing and only come back with his pole. His most favorite pass time was going “up the road” to HAND DANCE. After work, his ritual was to clean his car, take a shower, and put on his dancing shoes. The ladies would line up at the door to dance with Dorsey. To cherish his many fond memories he leaves six children Ricky Taylor, Tamara Smith, Anthony Smith, Jabbar Dorsey, Chanel Mnych and Corey Butler; three brothers James Dorsey , Ruben Berry and Jeffrey Berry; three sisters Pearline Hall, Diane Berry and Alberta Wiggins; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
