Obituary for SHRNIQUE L. HUTCHINS
Shrnique La Tice Hutchins (Ticy), daughter of Johnny and Bonnie Reynolds, departed this earthly dwelling on March 4, 2018. Ticy was born March 3, 1970, raised in Calvert County, MD and educated in the public school system.
Ticy was employed at the Office of Naval Intelligence, (ONI), Suitland Maryland from 1988-2010. She held several positions including Administrative Assistant and Security Processing Clerk. Ticy received yearly performance and time off awards for her hard work and dedication. Ticy was a member of ONI's Mentoring Club. She would spend hours each week mentoring at-risk youths at local schools, often using her own money to purchase students shoes and coats.
Ticy soared through life, enjoying it to the fullest and always with a smile and her signature laugh to light up the way. At an early age she attended Bible Way Church with her grandmother Reynolds. She was a gentle and fragrant flower with the most positive attitude much like her Grandma Cora, always smiling as if she was excited to see you and little could anger her. To us she seemed invincible on the outside and flower pedal soft on the inside. She was an incredible person who loved her family, spending time with her two cats, Muffin and Pumpkin, watching Big Brother and her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
She is survived by: her parents, Johnny and Bonnie Reynolds and sister Stheisha. Aunts: Rosalie, Williemae (Wilmer), Gail, Gwyn (Lonnie), Clovia, Thelma, Ethel, and Annie. Uncles: Douglas (Vanessa), Paul (Bertha), James (Deborah), Jerry, Dudley and Briscoe (Olivia). She leaves to grieve a host of cousins and friends and also her good friend Joyce. Proceeding in death by her grandparents Mary & Dudley Reynolds and Cora & Joseph Hutchins; aunts and uncles: Everette, Saonia (Garfield), Elaine (Nelson), Joanne; cousins Travon, Little Everette, Wayne and Nicky.
