Obituary for SHARON MARIE MIDDLETON
Sharon Marie Middleton, lovingly known as Tee-Dee by her family was born on October 13, 1971 to Mary Louise Smith-Randall and the late Sherman Morsell in Prince Frederick, MD. She passed away Friday December 4, 2015.
Sharon was born and raised in Calvert County. Some of her fondest childhood moments were the times she was with her siblings and many of her first-cousins (who were also like siblings) at their Granddad's house. One thing they always did was try to sneak peaches from their Granddad's peach tree and eat them before he could come back home and catch them. Most of the time he caught them, but they kept trying for years anyway. She received her education and graduated from Northern High School in 1989.
Sharon met the love of her life, Michael and they were married November 21, 1992. Sharon and Michael began studying with Jehovah's Witnesses and were baptized together on September 11, 1993. After a vehicle accident left Sharon unable to work in the corporate world full time; she dedicated her time to raising her children. But something was missing. Anyone who knew Sharon knew how much she loved people. So she used her love for people and was a full time minister for 10 years; which she said "was the best career change she could have ever made". She spent her days when her health allowed it going from door to door; sharing positive scriptures from the bible, teaching people about the God she loved and served whole-heartedly, Jehovah. She didn't limit her sharing the good news she learned to just strangers, but her family also. Sharon took much delight in sending thoughtful cards and letters to those who were sick, encouraging them with scriptures and providing them smiles; even though she herself was very sick at times.
Though there were many times Sharon was severely sick, she would always pray to Jehovah God to help her over yet another hurdle; and he always did. She believed what she read in the bible wholeheartedly; never doubting that Jehovah's holy spirit was with her and knew that there would be one day when Jehovah would do as he promised in Revelations 21:3,4-"wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." She found comfort in the bible's promise of a resurrection of those whom she'd lost in death, the same promise her family takes comfort in today. Sharon touched many lives, near and far and is not only in our memories and hearts, but the permanent memory of her God, Jehovah.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father Sherman Morsell, step-father Phillip Randall, her grandfather whom she cared for until his death Asbury Smith, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
