Obituary for RONALD THOMAS NOLAN

Ronald Thomas Nolan was born. on December 28, 1953 to the late Queenie and Jeff Scarborough. He was called home to glory on August 6, 2014.

He was united in holy matrimony on February 14, 1977 to Brenda Harris out of this union came two children.

Ronald was a member of the National Guard from 1973-1983. He's held jobs with Facchina and Scheibel Construction, Calvert Memorial Hospital, Walmart, Food Lion, Family Dollar and Safeway were he really took pride in the Bakery Dept and enjoyed working with his co-workers and the customers excited to share what he made and wanting you to sample.

His favorite things were watching Western's, The Big Bang Theory and The Young and the Restless. He was a die-hard Washington Redskins fan and many Sunday's he could be heard screaming at the television (especially last season). His favorites hymns were this is my Season and The Battle is my not yours.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Queenie and Jeff Scarborough. His uncles Maurice (Margaret), John (Ruby), Calvin (Lady) and Hezekiah (Viola) Brooks, Wilson (Tryfena) and John (Helen) Holland, Roland (Malinda) Plater, John (Hattie) Jackson, Edward (Mabely) Reynolds and Guy Chew. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 37 years Brenda Nolan. 2 children Rondell Nolan and Rhonda Nolan (Troy Washington). 2 brother's Jerald Nolan (Joan) and Michael Lewis, 1 sister Alice Holland, 6 grandchildren Malik James, Avonde Nolan, Shyanne Washington, Rayna Washington, Takayla Washington and Ashon Nolan whom he was so proud of he even wrote a book about them entitled Through the Eyes of a Grandfather. His in laws William and Mildred Harris. 6 sister in law's Janet Diggs, Joan Nolan, Delise Harris, Cathy Gantt, Nina Harris and Debra Butler. 4 brother in law's Todd Harris, Francis Harris, Gregory Harris and Fabian Harris. Two special nieces Leya Harris and Chardon Dickens and a host of nieces and nephews, special friends: Owen Henson, Frederick and Leila Mackall, Gertrude Brown, Glen Wills, Bill Reynolds, Darian Washington, Andrea Small, Sammy Mackall and Raymond Holland.
