Obituary for RICHARD RUSSELL HICKS, JR.
Richard Russell Hicks, Jr. affectionately known to many as (Boo, Boobie) died peacefully in Baltimore, MD on March 12, 2016.
Richard was born on February 9, 1972 at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, MD to Richard and Rachel Hicks. He graduated from Northern High School in the Class of 1990. After moving to Anne Arundel County he began working as a Painter over the next few years. Richard career took him many places from, Maryland, Virginia, Texas and many other states.
Whenever you see Richard he always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He was known for his talent of mimicking and imitating his family members so whenever Richard was around there was never a dull moment. Even in his late days he was very upbeat and had high spirits.
Richard loved to travel and help out family members. Whatever He could do to help Richard was right there to lend a helping hand. One of his favorite past times was hunting, fishing and doing anything outdoors. Richard was a faithful 49'ers fan.
Richard was proceeded in death by his father Richard Russell (Pee Wee) Hicks Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories his Mother Rachel Elizabeth Hicks; one son Gregory Kendall and loving daughter Nikea Hicks; one grandson Khaliq Uqdah, Jr.; two sisters Rita (Melvin) Creek and Sharlene Hicks; one brother Kevin (Nikki) Chew; two nieces Trina Grant and India l Creek; one great niece Nova Higdon; four nephews Melvin Creek Jr., Tremayne Carey, Kalif Chew and Khalil Chew; one god-son, Rashaad Harris; a devoted friend, Charlene Cooke; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
