Pennard Drexal Parker, son of the late Haywood and Gloria Parker, was born
last of six children on July 15, 1962 in Calvert County, Maryland. Pennard's life
expired unexpectedly on Monday, January 8, 2018 at his residence.
Pennard grew up in Calvert County and graduated from Calvert High School in
May of 1981. September 16, 1995, he married Carolyn D. Parran. During the
early years of their marriage, they enjoyed traveling and spending time with
family. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends; he enjoyed
good food and eating a bowl of ice cream before going to bed. Pen nard
enjoyed spending time with Abby, his niece Jhalita's dog; He loved "Abby Girl".
Pennard was a great basketball player and enjoyed playing on the high school
varsity team where he was called "Douche". Another sport he was passionate
about was football. He LOVED the "Dallas Cowboys". Anywhere you saw him,
he was representing the team. You would have thought he owned the team.
Pennard also loved going fishing. He would go fishing and would share his
catch with family, friends and the community. One of Pennard's famous
sayings was "If you don't know, you'd better ask somebody".
During his childhood, Pennard attended Brooks United Methodist Church.
Sometime in 1995, he became a member under the leadership of Prophet
Apostle Aniachi C. Belu-John. In 2000, he transitioned his membership to
Healing and Deliverance Community Experience of the Holy Spirit under the
same leadership.
He leaves to celebrate his life: his wife Carolyn, seven brothers: Haywood, Jr.
(Marie), Maurice (Tina), Ronnie (Betty), Bryan (Traci), Reco, Glen, and Leo,
seven sisters: Lucy, whom he loved as a second mother (Alvin, preceded in
death), Stacy, Rayseen (Guy), Johnanna, Annalita (Gene), Aptlena, and Ora
(Ken), in-laws: Joyce, Gail (Myron), Helen, Willie, David, Clarice (Van), Maurice
(Desharn), and Frankie (Deloris), godchildren: Tiara Mason, Jhalita Holland,
and Zachary Johnson along with a host of other relatives and plenty of friends.
