Obituary for PAUL TIMOTHY SESKER

Paul Timothy Sesker, the fifth of nine children born to the late Henry Leon and Mary Beatrice Sesker, entered the world on April 30, 1957 in Washington, DC.

Paul was a Life-long resident of Anne Arundel County and attended the public-school system. He worked for the Maryland State Highway Administration for 17 years.

Paul was always the life of the party. The world was his dance floor and he had no problem showing off his moves. His energy was contagious and anyone in his presence would be treated to a good laugh. He had a way with children; all of them loved Uncle Paul. He never let a moment go by without telling his family that he loved them. Paul was known for one-liners like, “what it do?!" and '"hey miss lady". He called just about everyone "cuz" and loved to mimic the sound of a race car.

Paul lived each day to the fullest. On most days, you would find him in the yard sitting under the shade tree, enjoying the company and conversation of relatives and friends. If the weather was nice, he would challenge you to a game of horseshoes and talk smack the entire time while playing. For downtime, Paul watched his favorite television programs like westerns, drag racing or football. The Dallas Cowboys were his favorite team and he proudly let the world know by sporting a hat and hoodie with their star logo on it. Paul also had a few hobbies. Of them all. he enjoyed working on automobiles. He was a "self-taught mechanic" and fixed the problems on several of his neighbors' cars. All one had to do was describe the sound or tell him exactly what the vehicle was doing and he would determine the problem. Paul’s hands and heart were made of gold; he assisted anyone who he thought he could help.

Paul departed this earthly life unexpectedly to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at home.

He leaves to cherish his memories; five sisters, Linda Miller (Marvin Sr.), Dolores Sesker-Jones (Ellis), Nancy Sesker-Coates, Shelia Brooks (Eric) and Cynthia Claggett (Clyde); seven nieces, Joyce (Jerry), Felisha, Rasha, Tiffany, Keonte’, Thelia (Antwon) and Taylor; six nephews, John, Cortez, Vincent, Shawn, Adrian and Demetrius; twenty-one great nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew; one sister-in-law, Ruby Sesker; and one adopted son, Travis Harris. Paul also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends, especially Earl "Flower" Davis, Calvin Curtis, Efrem Owens, Kelvin Owens and Charles Sharp. He has truly left a mark on the lives of so many people.

In addition to his parents, Henry and Mary Sesker, Paul was preceded in death by his two brothers, Henry B. Sesker and Larry Sesker; one sister, Beverly Sesker; and two nephews. Antonio Sesker and Todd Hicks Jr.
