Obituary for PATRICIA KAY JOHNSON
Patricia Kay Johnson was born on October 21, 1965 in Waco, TX to Sandra Kay Johnson (Brooks), and Edward 'TD' Johnson. She moved to MD in 1973, where she would live out the rest of her Days.
In 1983, Patricia graduated from Great Mills High school in Lexington Park, MD. She has earned a degree in computer technology and Associates degree from CSM. She had many of jobs some include Raytheon, Beretta Inc., CNA (home provider) for Doctor Hertz, Realtor advice, and many more. Patricia was one of the 1st black female drivers for Harry Lumberg School of Seamanship. She started a program called "Youth taking control" to show young people you do have control over your life!!!
Patricia, loved taking care of her boys (or as she says "Her 3 Kings"). They were and still are her world. She loved all her Grandbabies even more. Patricia Life was dedicated to helping and comforting other. She was a unique, confident and highly intelligent Woman. All kids were welcomed in her house, and she enjoyed babysitting no matter how old the children was. But no matter how hard life was to her you could catch her at Bingo or Rod & Reel to humbling herself or just to get a peace of mind from life.
Patricia (or Ms. Pat y’all), fought a long hard battle with cancer for 22yrs because she wanted to see her kids become MEN!!! Ms. Pat didn't take no trash from no one and she would mess up the captain and wait on the crew for anyone that messed with her loved ones.
Sadly, Patricia Johnson left us on December 20, 2019 to take her place in GOD's army. She is preceded in death by her strong Mother (SKB), Father (T.D.), and her beautiful Sister, Dedria.
She is survived by: her 3 sons, Antoine Johnson (Shannon), Jarrell Johnson and Garrick Johnson (Ashely) all of Lexington Park, MD; her pride and joy, her Grandbabies, JaMarion Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Jae' Quan Johnson, Javan Johnson, JaMrya Johnson, Tyra Johnson, Serenity Johnson and Alanna Johnson; her 3 brothers and 1 sister, Charles D.
