Michael Tyrone Morsell Jr. (Mike Mike) was on born on October 8, 1984 to Michael T. Morsell Sr. and Arvaye M. Jones at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick. Maryland. He was educated in Calvert County Public Schools. At the age of 16, he started working with his grandfather Russell Jones, doing construction work. On November 14, he was granted with his first and only child, Cameron Finstad-Morsell. Cameron was Michael's pride and joy. Michael was baptized in the name of Jesus at St. Matthews Free Gospel Church by his great uncle, Bishop Daniel Jones in Leonardtown, Maryland. At the time of his death he was working for R&R Fabrication Company in Prince Frederick, Maryland.
Mike Mike loved kidding and joking, he was a joy to be around. He was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need and kept a smile on the face of anyone he came in contact with. He loved singing, making people laugh and spending time with his family. His two favorite songs were "Never Could've of Made it" and "The Storm is Over".
Softly and tenderly God called Mike Mike to his eternal rest on Monday, June 20.1016 at 2:22 p.m., at Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington, D.C. Family members stood at his bedside as he made his transition.
Mike Mike leaves to cherish his memories: his one and only son; Cameron Finstad-Morsell; mother, Arvaye M. Jones; father, Michael T. Morsell Sr.; sister, Chi mere (Aaron) Harper; brother, Markko Morsell; nephews, Aaron Harper and Joshua Harper; niece, Heaven Harper; grandparents, Russell and Sally Jones and Sharron Morsell and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his Grandmother Helen M. Wills and Grandfather Joseph Morsell.
