On October 4, 1963, Elizabeth was united in holy matrimony to Syrelius Wills, Jr. and out of this union three children were born: Susan (Sue), William E, and Dana (deceased).

Elizabeth was first employed with the Prince Georges County School System. She transferred to the Calvert County School System where she worked for 33+ years at Beach and Windy Hills Elementary Schools. While employed at these schools Elizabeth received several awards, pins, certificates and acknowledgements for her dedication to public education and the youth of Calvert County, and for her superior work from the principals, teachers and students.
Elizabeth loved being around family. She was a soft-spoken, kind hearted and giving person. Her hobbies were watching old western movies; travelling with her mother-in-law, Ida Elizabeth Wills, and friend, Pamela Randall, to various churches and stores; gardening (flowers); and the most memorable were trips to the Dutch County in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
