Obituary for MARJORIE M. GREENE
Marjorie Madeline Greene, born March 28, 1955, in Calvert County, Maryland, to the late Alfred and Grace Greene as departed this life suddenly, slipping away in her rest on January 7, 2020.
Marjorie was educated in the Calvert County School System. She graduated from Calvert High School in 1973- After graduation she worked briefly in the Calvert County School system before she moved away to live in Washington, DC. She spent more than 20 years working administratively in Washington, DC and Virginia before returning to Calvert County in 2012. In her free time, she enjoyed reading the Bible and making healthy meals.
Her early life was about education and devotion to her Christian faith. She never married or had children. Marjorie enjoyed being alone. She was a soft spoken, humble, gentle and loving person. She was caring, giving and a little shy. She cared for her mother around the clock, for the final years of her mom's life. Marjorie often neglected her own well-being to be there for her mother.
She is survived by three sisters Valarie Greene, Anita Greene-Wills (Ricky Wills), Carolyn Greene, and ten brothers: Alfred Greene, (Joanne Greene) Maurice Greene (Pearle Greene), Matthew Greene (Veronica Greene), James Greene, Spencer Greene, Jeffery Greene, Anthony Greene. Wayne Greene, Dwight Greene and Samuel Greene and a host of nieces and nephews.
