Obituary for Langston Delaney Funn

Langston Delaney Funn who spent his childhood and young adult years in Calvert County, Maryland, passed away November 16, 2007, at Prince Georges General Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland. He was a member of his family home church Patuxent United Methodist in Calvert County where he served until leaving home to attend college. Langston received his elementary and high school education in the public schools of Calvert County. He graduated from William Sampson Brooks High School in 1959, where his father was principal and from Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. He was a businessman and employed as a Personnel Director for several years at Bowie University. He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army in Vietnam and received an honorable discharge after completing full military service.
Langston leaves to cherish his lovingly memories a beloved Familydevoted daughter LaMarr T. Funn; brothers Malcolm L. and Charles O. Funn; a sister-in-law Annette J. Funn; grand children Princess, Trinity and Noel; nephews Kelby, Kyle and Kristopher Funn; and an ex-wife Carlene Reid. He also leaves to cherish his memory the Brown family from Surrey County, Virginia, and the Funn family from Powhatan County, Virginia, and a host of friends and associates.
