Obituary for LOUVENIA MARY HEMPHILL
Louvenia Mary Hemphill, of Lusby, Maryland entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Blackstock, South Carolina to the late Samuel and Polly Wesley.

Louvenia worked in a canning factory in her early life. She then opened up her home to individuals in need and also by becoming a foster parent to children. Louvenia enjoyed helping and giving to others.
In her senior years after the onset of dementia and not being able to care for herself, she came to Calvert County to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
