Obituary for JEFFREY SHAWN BROOKS
Jeffrey Shawn Brooks was born in Calvert County, Maryland on April 9, 1960, to the late Theodore Brooks and Catherine Leona Tyler Thomas. He was raised by the late Howard Thomas (CP) and Catherine Leona Tyler Thomas. He departed his life on Friday, December 10, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by angles to carry him home.
Jeffrey attended the public school of Calvert County, MD. Jeffrey was known to be a quiet, meek spirited, easy-going guy who didn’t mind lending a helping hand. He loved his family, Cheryl his oldest sister was his second mother, and adorned his daughter Kendra. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Jeffrey enjoyed watching western movies such as Gunsmoke, Long Ranger, Rifleman, court shows, hanging with his brother-in-law Buck and his buddies, and loved to look nice, neat, and clean with a crease in his jeans. Most of all his prized passion was to keep his vehicle shining like new money. He made sure he made his vehicle sparkling bright inside and out.
On March 31, he married the women he prayed to God for and the love of his life, Wendy Parker, who was faithful, devoted, very attendant, and spoiled him rotten. Never wanting for anything.
On Sunday, November 7, 2021, Jeffrey attended the Church of God At Huntingtown under the leadership of Elder, Quentin Jones, Sr., Pastor to give his life to the Lord, because he knew his days were getting short. Jeffrey accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as his personal savior on that day.
