Obituary for JAMES OLIVER CHASE

James Oliver Chase, son of the late Oliver and Madelene Chase was born September 22, 1931 in Calvert County Maryland. He was educated in the Calvert County public schools. He served two years in the U.S. Army. After his discharge, James became a bricklayer. He loved his work and did so until he became ill and unable to work.

His hobbies were fishing and watching his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Corena of 59 years; 5 sons, James, Carnell, Douglas, David, and Earnest; 3 daughters, Myrtle, Flora, and Dorene; 3 brothers, Paul, George, and Leonard; 1 son-in-law, Aaron; 3 daughters-in-law, Sheryl, Monique, and Victoria; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; 8 sisters-in-law, Mildred, Ema, Sarah, Mary, Frances, Carolyn, Josephine and Evelyn, and a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Wilson Brooks, Ricky Brown, Austin Brown, Billy Brooks, and Amos Hurley.
