Obituary for JAMES EDWARD WALLACE, SR.
James Edward Wallace, Sr, affectionately known as pops and grandpop was born on May 10, 1931, to the late Edward and Florence Wallace. The sun set for him the last time on September 27, 2019.
In September 1950, he was united in marriage to the late Ollye Vertina Jacks. From this union, God blessed them with four daughters and eight sons: Lois Brooks, James Wallace Jr. (deceased), Terry Wallace (deceased), Delbert Wallace (Donnetta), Faye Gross, Gary Wallace (Kathy), Dale Wallace, Michael Wallace (Tamara), Bruce Wallace, Sharon Wallace, Donna Parker and Shawn Wallace.
James attended Calvert County Public Schools. Starting his career as a custodian at the National Guard Armory, he later ventured out to become the CEO and Founder of Chesapeake Trash Removal. Serving the Calvert County residents for 50+ years before retiring to enjoy family and friends.
Left to cherish James memories are three daughter-n-laws, forty-five grandchildren; sixty-five great grandchildren; one brother Barton, and one sister Olivee; one brother-in-law Gene (Jeep), and two sisters-in-laws (Rose Holland and Lillian Wallace); a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
