Harold C. Tyler was born November 23, 1952 in Calvert County to Enoch Tyler Jr. and Doris Idella Wills Tyler. He departed this life Monday April 27th, 2020 at his home in Huntingtown, MD.
Boo received his education at Calvert High School in 1970, where he was an avid basketball player. He continued his education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In June of 1975 he was united in matrimony to Sandra K. Jefferson, which led to 45 years of marriage and 2 children. Boo worked as a carpenter for 30 years and retired from the Calvert County Public School System after 10 years of service.
Boo was preceded in death by his parents Doris Idella Wills Tyler, Sister Brenda Lee Tyler, niece Sheena Creek.
Boo leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Sandra K. Tyler; 2 daughters Nicole R. Tyler (Vaughn), and Candace C. Tyler. 2 grandsons: Bryson J. Curtis, and Tayden T. Gantt; father, Enoch Tyler, Jr., 7 siblings: Charles Tyler (Rachel), Doris Creek (Elmer, deceased), Maurice (Sandra), Linda White (Matthew), Beverly Creek (Maurice), Gregory Wills, Sandra Garde (Chip); 2 brother in laws: Clark Sollers (Audrey), Alvin Freeland Jr. and 1 sister-in-law Saunders Freeland; 1 maternal aunt Mattie Prout, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Boo always said see you later, he hated goodbyes, and was known for asking for a kiss as “Bug Juice”. Boo was a loving husband, father, brother, friend, grandfather, and son!
