Frederick Geoffrey Taylor often known by many as (Freddie) departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 27, 2023 at Southern Maryland Hospital after a lengthy illness of over 20 years.
Frederick Geoffrey Taylor (Freddie) was born on June 04, 1951, in Prince Frederick, Maryland to the late George Taylor and Ruth Mackall. Freddie was the first of four siblings.
He received his education in Calvert County Public School System. Freddie attended Brooks High School where he landed a position as the "Milk Man". It was told that he took great pride in this position.
Early on Freddie was baptized and devoted his life to Christ. He fellowshipped with several different ministries in the surrounding area.
Freddie served in the United Sates Army from 1971-1973. Over the years he worked in many capacitates including the Tobacco Fields, Warren Denton Oyster House Landscaping, and the Auto Mechanic field.
He enjoyed shooting pool with anyone that would play, going to the dragstrip and car shows while hanging out with his son (Tony). Let's not forget how he was often caught sneaking off to Wendy's for one of his favorite "Fish Sandwiches".
You would often find him at home with his buddy, Jimmy Johnson, playing their electric guitar and organ while listening to old school or gospel music.
Freddie leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Anthony Sr. (Mona), four daughters Monica, Tanya, Yolanda and Shawntia Hall. Nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren. One sister Rhoda Johnson, and three brothers, Patrick, Van, and Curtis Height, three uncles Vale, Donald (Jane)and Kenneth Mackall and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Freddie had many of friends just to name a few, Uncle Vale, Jimmy Johnson, Floyd Harris, Francis Harris, Freddy Hawkins, Ansel Marshall, Guy Reynolds, Jimmy Gough, Sidney Gross, Rayfield Harcum Sr., Jerry Butler, Earl (tiny) Butler and The Calvert Pines Pool Room Crew.
Freddie proceeded to death with his wife Burdina, mother Ruth Mackall Smith and father George Alexander Taylor.
