Edward  "Eddie" Parker, 64 of Wheaton, MD, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Potomac Valley Nursing Center, Rockville, MD.He was born May 23, 1943 in Parker's Creek, MD to the late Theodore Parker and the late Ellen (Johnson) Parker.  He enjoyed hunting with his younger brothers, joking with his nieces and nephews and was the absolute enjoyment of the family cookouts dancing all alone.  He adored his baby sister, Dolline Jones, who graciously, along with her companion, Clifton Jones, dedicated their time taking care of him.Eddie attended Calvert County Public Schools.  He worked as a carpenter.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Ellen Parker; grandparents, Lachester Carr and Jack Johnson; aunts, Myrtle Carr, Carrie Johnson, Annie Parker, Lillian Parker, Audrey Carr, and Sedonia Parker; 4 uncles, Nathaniel Parker, Sr., Josephus Parker, George Carr, and Winchester Commodore; 2 brothers-in-law, best friend, Joseph "Cornbread" Middleton, and James Gray, Sr.Surviving are  his wife, Cheryl V. Parker, 2 children, Michael and Amanda Parker; grandchildren, Jahsheem, Jessica,  Jasmine, and Joey; stepson England Reeder and step granddaughter, Gayle O. Reeder; 5 sisters, Dolline Jones, Susie Middleton, Lachester "Mary" Harris, Rosie Lee Gray, and Evelyn Mackall; 6 brothers, Kenneth "Timmy" Parker, Dorsey Commodore, Theodore "Junior Bug" Parker, Jr., Bobby Parker, Phillip Parker, and Roland "Tony" Parker; 3 aunts, Valerie Carr, Edna Fleming and Lisa Parker; 2 uncles, George Carr and Clarence Johnson; 8 sisters-in-law, Irene "Renee" Parker, Lillie Mae Commodore, Donna Parker, Janice Parker, Elizabeth Reeder, Jeanette Davis, Eleanor Hall, and Margaret Daniel; 4 brothers-in-law, Clifton Jones, Floyd Harris, Sr., Carlton Mackall, Sr., and Charles Reeder; 45 nieces and nephews; 33 great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Floyd Harris, Jr., Donald Lee Savoy, Donnel Commodore, Timothy Clayton, Carlton Mackall, Jr., Leonard Harris, and Page Fletcher.
