Obituary for ESTELLE JONES
Estelle Jones, 51, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on December 31, 2009 at her residence, surrounded by loved ones, in Prince Frederick, MD. Estelle Jones was born December 30, 1958 to the late Willie Jones, Sr. and Audrey Brown Jones in Calvert County, Maryland.
She attended the public schools of Calvert County. One of her greatest accomplishments was returning to school and receiving her Diploma in 1995. Estelle was a faithful, baptized member of Emmanuel Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was an outstanding usher for many years. She loved the Lord and she loved serving others. She enjoyed listening to the Canton Spiritual singers. She was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. Estelle was a dedicated employee at the Calvert County Library. She was also employed by the Calvert County Courthouse and the postal services in Owings, Maryland.
She leaves to cherish her memories; five children: Calvin Brooks, Melvin Mackall Jr., Shiron Mackall Daniels, Tiara Boyd and Brianna Boyd; one son-in-law, James Daniels, and one daughter-in-law Amanda Brooks; six grandchildren: Jordan, Krista, Toni, Madison, Desiree, and Melvin (III); One step-son Gerald Boyd (II); One god-son; six brothers: Willie Jones (Mary), John Jones (Delphine), Preston Eugene Jones, Louis Jones (Bernadette), preceded in death Julis Jones; five sisters: Mary Francis Stepney (Sidney); Alice Jones; Sadie Jones; Mattie Jones Glenn (Ronnie Glenn); Mary Taylor; Gertrude McCorkelm Markley (Gary), four aunts and one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
