Obituary for Daniel Jean Clark, Jr.

Daniel Jean Clark, Jr., 28 of Washington, DC, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Howard University Hospital, Washington, D.C."DJ" was born Friday, July 18, 1980 in Washington, D.C. to Daniel Jean Clark, Sr. and Ringgold B. Clayton.  He attended Moten Elementary School, Kramer Junior High School and graduated from Ballou High School.  While attending Ballou he participated in the AFJROTC where he became 1st Lieutenant.  He was also a running back for Ballou's football team in which he excelled receiving numerous trophies and awards.He worked as a Window Installer.  On December 3, 2003, he was joined in matrimony to Bonita Lynette Hawkins after being together since November 17 1995.  They met at the AFJROTC competition and have been inseparable every since.  Danny was a loving and caring person who would go out of his way for anyone in need.  When he called his mother, he would greet her with "Hey Lady or Hey Mother, what are you up to"?  He would tell his sister and brother to "always listen to mother, she knows best and she's not going to tell you nothing wrong".Surviving are  his wife, Bonita L. Clark, three children, Diamond (age 9), Bonita (age 5) and Danielle (age 2 weeks); mother, Ringgold; sister, Diamond, and brother  Dijon Clayton; mother-in-law, Bonita DeVille; brother-in-law, Keith Daughtry; three nieces; five aunts; other relatives and friends.
