Obituary for DOROTHY M. SHARPE
On Sunday May 24th,2020, Dorothy Marie Sharpe (Ree) departed this life at her home in Calvert County Maryland. Ree was born July 31st, 1938 in Stanardsville, Virginia to the late Florine and Stark Williams.
She was educated in the Green County Public School system. In 1979, Ree became a certified nurse’s assistant. She was employed with the J. Baker corporation until her retirement in 2002.
Ree is proceeded in death by her husband, Alexander (Sunny) Sharpe, her sons; Albert, Darryl, and Michael, her parents; Florine and Stark, her siblings; Hattie, James, Stark JR, and Ethel. She leaves to mourn in her passing, her children; Dawne(Lafayette), Kenneth and Elroy, her siblings; Lavender, Florine, Thelma, Walter(Patricia), Renee(Mark) one daughter-in-law Cynthia Walker, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the restrictions requiring social distancing, there will be a limit of 10 people in the viewing at one time. Face masks are required. Please limit your visit so that others may have an opportunity to pay their respects. After viewing, we ask that you exit the premises immediately.
