Obituary for DEANGELO GREEN
Hello everybody, this is DeAngelo Green better known as "D" and I was born on July 9, 1990 to Robin Green and James Emerson. I was educated in the Washington DC metropolitan area and I had a passion for work at a very young age. I delivered newspapers and worked at an Auto Body Shop. I soon realized that I wanted to be an electrician because I would take apart our TV's and remote controllers just to put them back together. I built a Vending Machine as a class project and was amazed at all the cords.
After experiencing the challenges of life, I began to go to church and accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I received my Associates Degree for Electrical Engineering in January 2015 from IIT Technical Institute and I was employed with the Freestate Electrical Company.
Family means everything to me. I love all my family and adore my children. That's why I spend so much time with them. I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan and I don't miss an opportunity to "cut-up" with my family and friends at our family events. When I'm around there is non-stop "cut up" humor and entertainment. My last family event was to witness my Father's baptism a couple of weeks ago. What a blessing!
Well I have to go now and I know you'll miss me because I'm always the "life of the party." Please know that I am free because I'm with my Father in Heaven. I leave to cherish my memories: My Mother and Father, Robin Green and James Emerson; three children, Damarie, Kaylee, DeAndre; one stepdaughter, Jamiya; brother, Jamal Green; sister, Kiana Green; stepmother, Valerie Emerson; three stepbrothers, Shaun Robinson, Dejuan Hemsley, Sr. (Aleshia), Tovaun McNeil; grandmother, Helen Irene Wallace; five aunts, Gloria Jean Thomas, Catherine L. Randall (Charles), Veronica Cathey (Cleandell); Yvonne Emerson, Helen Barnes (Andre); three uncles, Robert Green, Melvin and Arthur Donnell Emerson (Sheila); devoted partner, Erica Yorkshire; eight nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by: grandmother, Charlotte Thomas; two aunts Delores Simpson and Mary Susan Emerson; two uncles, George Simpson and Ellis Emerson.
