Obituary for BRENDA LEE TAYLOR
Brenda Taylor, 59, of Owings, MD passed away on September 9, 2010 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, MD.
Brenda Jones Taylor was born on February 5, 1951 to Georgia L. Jones and the late Rudolph L. Jones. Brenda was the oldest of their eleven children. Brenda was educated in the public schools of Calvert County. She was a 1969 graduate of Calvert High School.
She was united in holy matrimony on May 22, 1982 to Frankie H. Taylor.
Brenda attended the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness in Huntingtown, MD.
Brenda was a very kind, generous and loving person who found great joy in making others happy. She was known for giving away her delicious cakes and other bake goods to family and friends.
Brenda enjoyed cooking and had several jobs as a cook in restaurants that included the Forestville People's Drug Store Diner, Rose Haven Yacht Club and Stinnett's Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Page.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Frankie ; mother, Georgia; five sisters, Donna Jones, Debora Harris (Charles), Dawn Claggett (Ellis), Starr and Tracey Jones; four brothers, Grafton (Kathy), Jeffrey (Tonya), Daryl (Carol) and Mark (Tara); brothers in law, Stanley Taylor and Kenneth Savoy; three uncles Jesse and Floyd Jones, Kingston Creek, three aunts Myrtle Creek, Margaret and Marydell Jones; a great uncle, Daniel Brown; two Godsons, Charles Harris, Jr. and Timothy Lee Jones; 33 nieces and nephews; 7 great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
