Allen Frank Booth, 73, of Dunkirk, MD passed away on October 1, 2010 at the Hospice House, Prince Frederick, MDI am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. St.John 14:6
Allen Frank Booth was born April 10, 1937 to the late Nannie C. Booth (Wills) and Leroy M. Booth. Allen was the fifth of eleven children. He departed this life Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Hospice House in Prince Frederick, Md.He received his education from Calvert County Public Schools. He was a 1955 graduate of W.S. Brooks High School. He also served four years in the Army receiving an Honorable discharge.
Frank was a member of Bethel Way of the Cross Church. He was baptized in Jesus name and later received the Holy Ghost. He attended services until he became ill.
Frank touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his sense of humor all the way to the end. He took pleasure in his gardens, sharing his vegetables with family and friends. He loved cooking for himself and others. He also enjoyed western movies and game shows.
From a young man he became a Welder. He worked different places over the years. He was employed at Victor Stanley until he retired.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Leroy, his mother, Nannie, four brothers, Eugene, George, Alfred and Charles Booth, and a special longtime friend Mother Vivian Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memories one sister, Volley Brooks of Owings, five brother; Rogers Booth of Prince Frederick, Everett Booth of Sunderland, Wilbert Booth (Mary) of Owings, Gilbert Booth (Margie) of Friendship and Walton Booth (Agnes) of Bowie; andthree sisters-in-laws Grace (Eugene), Ruth (George) and Sylvia (Charles).He leaves 28 nieces and nephews and a great host of relatives and friends. He never had children of his own, but he had a special place in his heart for Mother Vivian Joners' children and their spouses. He especially loved the grandchildren. Frank special friends were Richard Creek, Robert Booze, Norman Hurley and Robert King.
